Passed peacefully away with family by her side at the Glenbrook Lodge, St. John’s, at the age of 94.  Predeceased by parents Marshall Hardiman and Blanche Foote, husband Edward (Ted) LeGrow, brother Cyril Hardiman, son-in-law Michael Valimaki, sister-in-law Patricia Hardiman.  Leaving with fond and cherished memories, her five children Dolores Joy (Albert), Judi Valimaki, Susan Noseworthy (Bob), Edward (Ted) LeGrow (Laura), Alan LeGrow (Theresa Stack); thirteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; brother Alan Hardiman, and a large circle of extended family and friends.  The family wishes to thank the staff and medical staff at the Glenbrook Lodge for their excellent care during Mom’s stay for the last eight years, and a very special thank you for the care and compassion shown to Mom during her final days.  The family will receive visitors at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Friday, September 25th.  Funeral service will be held from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Saturday, September 26th with interment to follow at the Bauline United Cemetery, Pouch Cove Line.  Please contact the family if you wish to attend the visitation or funeral service.  For those unable to attend, the funeral service will be live-streamed.  The link to view the online service is available above.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Tillie’s memory may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation or a charity of one’s choice.

I would look forward to our little talks when I would come visit next door . She was a very stylish and conservative lady , who I was very blessed to have known . I love you mom. My heart is broken that I can not be there with you and my family. I will miss you and always love you. My only comfort is knowing you are no longer suffering. And you are with your loved ones who have gone before. You will always be in my heart. Until we meet again love always.

I haven’t seen your mom since Covid hit us, but always enjoyed having a chat with her especially when she was on the same floor as mom , she loved playing wheel of fortune andthere was always a race betwee her and mom who was going to get the answer first!

So very sorry to hear of Tillie’s passing. We have many fond memories of Tillie, Ted and famIly visiting our home and us visiting your home.
Tillie and mom ( Hazel Churchill ) were good friends and kept in touch whenever they could.
Sorry we won’t be able to see you in person because of Covid, but know you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
