Passed away peacefully on December 29, 2018 at Charlottetown, PEI, Andrew Forward “Ford” Ball, age 73 years. Ford was predeceased by parents Elmer and Jean Ball and sister Helen Jones (Gordon). He is survived by siblings Mary Hood (Peter) and her family, Harry, Peter (Donna) and his family as well as his good friend Carole Wheeler. The family is grateful to the staff of Prince Edward Home in Charlottetown for the love and care extended to Ford during his last years. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Carnell’s Funeral home on Sunday January 13 at 2 pm followed by a service at 3 pm in the chapel. Donations in Ford’s memory may be made to the Prince Edward Home Memorial Fund, 75 Maypoint Road, Charlottetown, PE C1E 3H1.

My most sincere sympathies are extended to Ford’s entire family at this difficult time. I was one of Ford’s care givers at the Prince Edward Home. I spent many evenings watching tv with him. I loved how his face would light up when I gave him ice cream. He will be missed on Blue Heron.
Mary and Peter, we are so sad to hear of Ford’s passing. Our deepest condolences. It is comforting to know that his passing was peaceful and he was well cared for. It’s never easy losing a family member. There’s always a gap. May you take heart in your childhood memories when you were together and safe.
