Sending our deepest and heartfelt condolences to all the family. I hold dear the many memories of Uncle Art from my childhood. He delighted in entertaining us with his comical antics and humorous stories and tales. Art was a much loved “uncle” and though the family dynamics changed, he remained a prominent figure in our hearts. In later years, when we chanced to meet, he would greet you with a warm embrace and his face reflected his delight in seeing you…the feeling was mutual. He will be fondly remembered.

May the many cherished memories that you shared give you strength at this difficult time.
Much love and hugs to you all ❤️

Myra I am so sorry to hear about Art. May all your good memories together help to get you through this difficult time.

Myra, we are very saddened by Art’s passing. Since we moved onto the street 15 years ago, we have enjoyed very much the many neighbourly chats, the amusing stories, and the scattered glass. I will miss being able to go to Art for a handyman hint when I wasn’t sure how to tackle an issue. He was a clever fellow in the workshop, and a fine neighbor. We will miss him, and we are very sorry for your loss.

Myra, we are so sorry to hear of Art’s passing..Wherever we met Art he always had a joke..He will be surely missed..Our condolences to you and all the family..

His wonderful humour and great stories are etched …. with grins ….into my memory. They were great times. Thinking about him always brings a smile. Over the years… any time I have gotten to see any of you… I see him there. He lives on in you

It is so sad to hear that our Uncle Art is not with us any longer, but his memory, stories and laughter will be. I hope we all can find some comfort in that. All our love to you Aunt Myra and to all of his family and friends.

Mr. Colbourne will be sadly missed. Such a kind man and wonderful dad. He loved his family dearly and made everyone feel like a part of the family. I’ll always look back fondly on the many days spent as a kid with the Colbournes at the house on Country Road.

On behalf of the Paul’s family, I offer my sincere condolences to you all on the loss of a wonderful man and friend. Art was a great friend to our family when we resided in Happy Valley, Goose Bay and later on in Marystown and St. John’s. Our families would often enjoy family festivities and country outtings together back in the day. I remember going trouting with my father and Art and John and Steve near Bay L’argent and other great fishing areas when we were young. And I remember Art was quite an outdoorsman who had an infectious smile and kind personality. Hold on tight to your wonderful memories as you support each other through this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Take care.

Sending you all love and hugs at this difficult time. I pray that the cherished memories you each have will carry you through today, and for the time to come. Art touched so many lives, mine included, and he will be greatly missed by all. A true gem ALWAYS……..❤️

No words can express how much our family is touched and saddened by the passing of Arthur Colbourne, dad to Donna and Denis, who have been friends of ours for 30+ years. We share in their grief. We also can’t forget their siblings, mother, and all their family who are too equally saddened by this passing. But in the loss of someone we discover something magical and beautiful in that person. And I am sure you find peace in that discovery. God Bless and hugs.

We are so sorry for you loss. Love and prayers to you all ❤️
