Obituary
Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Thursday, December 22nd, aged 89 years. Predeceased by husband Wallace and sister Rita. Leaving to mourn daughter Sandra (Rob); sons Andy (Patty), Wally (Nellie); grandchildren Andrew (Jennifer), Angie (Darryl), Ashley and Brandon; great-granddaughter Lauren and great grandsons Bryan and Christopher; sisters Eva and Olive as well as other relatives and friends. Visitation will take place at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on December 27th from 2 – 4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on December 28th at 11 a.m. from The Carnell Memorial Chapel. Cremation has taken place. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation in her memory.

Wally, Sandra and Andy; I just heard of the passing of your Mom, and I am so sorry for your loss. Your Mom, like your Dad, always had smiles for the youngsters on the street. I wish you strength and fond memories.

Thinking of each of you this Christmas morning. Your Mother/Grandmother was a wonderful lady, who was very much a mother to me, as I grew up, on the next street. . As Andy and I became good friends, in our early years, I spent lots of time at her home. She was a warm and gentle lady, who we all loved. She would want us all to love each other, laugh and smile a lot, and be good to people we meet. I will remembered her, and each of you, in my prayers, this Christmas season.
