Obituary
Passed peacefully away on Sunday June 24th, 2018 at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, Augustus (Gus) Mahon, aged 82 years. Predeceased by his wife Shirley (nee Crane) and parents John and Annie (nee Gardiner); brothers Leo, Gerald, Ron, Val and Paddy; sisters Madonna, Mercedes, Bernice and Marie. Left with fond and loving memories brother Frank; also a number of brothers in law and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, 3 South, for their care and compassion shown towards Gus during his time there. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Wednesday June 27 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Thursday, June 28 at 10:30 a.m. with interment to follow at Kenmount Road Anglican Cemetery.

So sorry to hear of my uncles passing.I met Gus a few times and was told recently that he was a patient at st.pats,had plans to visit him this summer but found out today he passed away last month, had I known I certainly would have attended his funeral.My sincere condolences to all of his family.
Deepest condolences he was a gentleman. GUS WAS our neighbor on Collins place never met a nicer man R.I.P Ron &Gertrude Wheaton
