Obituary

Barbara Gulliver, age 66, of St. John’s, passed away at the Miller Centre on September 20th, 2020, with her family by her side. She lost her very courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her parents Mary and Otto Emberley. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her; devoted and loving husband Fred Gulliver, their daughters Tammy Gulliver-Cleary (Donny), Tina Gulliver-Rowe (Todd), Tanya Gulliver (Paschal), sister and best friend, Alice Gosse (Frank). Her beautiful grandchildren who she adored, Kyle and Brandon Rowe, Briana and Jaxon Cleary.   Her god children Tracey (who always made Barb laugh) and Terry O’Reilly. Good friends Peggy Caines (as well as her children Stephanie and Gregory who Barb babysat for years), Kaela Bailey and Remona Manuel. Special thank you to the palliative care unit at the Miller Centre who kept her comfortable.  Barb’s kindness and beautiful heart will be missed dearly. Cremation will take place followed by a private family service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barb’s memory may be made to the Daffodil Place.

Our heartfelt condolences to the family. I will always remember Barb with a infectious smile. My family is very grateful for all the love and kindness Barb showed to Peggy and her kids for all these years. May God bless your family.
