Obituary
Passed peacefully away at his home on October 15, 2016, at the age of 95 years. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Edith; children Wade, Donna (Hubert) and Dale (Sandy); adored grandchildren Darren, Shawn and Katelyn; as well as nieces, nephews and dear friends. The family wishes to extend a very heartfelt thank you to Chris for taking such wonderful care of dad, as well as a very special thank you to his Community Health nurses, especially Vivian. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. On Monday from 12- 4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Tuesday October 18, 2016 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in Cupids United Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Doug’s memory may be made to Wesley United Church or Cupids United Church, or a charity of one’s choice.
