It is with much sadness that I hear of the passing of Carol, who was a class mate of mine at Bishop Spencer. My condolences go out to her family and friends, Cheryl (Rowe) Hardy,

My condolences to Carol’s family and friends. She was very kind and thoughtful.

My sympathy to the Earle family. For those unaware, Carol was a dedicated Sunday School teacher and Explorers teachers at Gower Street Church for many years. She was wonderful and as young girls, we learned so much from her.

I am so sad to her of Carol’s passing. My Mom, Ethel Jarvis, was Carol’s roommate at St. Pat’s from Feb – May, 2018 when my Mom passed away. During that period I visited Mom often. Carol was always so pleasant and became during that time like one of our family – my sister and brother would say the same. When I gave Mom a kiss goodnight I also gave one to Carol. My children would also give her a kiss goodnight. As Mom’s health declined Carol would watch out for her and would give me an update when I came in. I spent many evenings listening to VOWR with Carol. We were there more often during April and May and she never seemed bothered by all the coming and goings. She was a real blessing and friend to my Mom and family. I feel so very thankful and blessed to have had her as part of our lives. Sincere sympathy to her family.

She was great teacher at Newfoundland School for the Deaf before got job at MUN Library. I met her around at MUN Library sometimes over 30 years ago.

My sympathy to her family.
