Danielle told me the sad news today. So sorry to hear of Charlie’s passing. He was a wonderful Husband, Dad, Grandfather and Neighbor. He was very generous with his time while my Dad was alive and our family appreciated all the neighborly care Charlie and Edie provided for our family. I know Charlie and my Dad will be sharing new jokes when they meet up again!

I am so very sorry to hear of Charlie’s passing. I worked with Charlie at the Newfoundland Dockyard in the Purchasing and Stores Dept. Charlie was a true professional and also had a great sense of humour. We all thoroughly enjoyed working with him. My condolences to his family and friends.

We were sorry to hear about Mr. Phillips passing. I have such good memories of him. He’s the only person I let call me Cindy Sue! He had a great sense of humour. I literally have never seen him without a smile on his face. He loved life and he loved his family. We will miss him.

Sending our sincerest sympathies to aunt Edie,Charlie,Leslie,Neil and families.I remember playing hockey in the basement with Neil as a young lad and Uncle Charlie asked me if I wanted a “frankfurter”.I didn’t know what a frankfurter was. Of course it turns out it was a wiener. Back in the day when we actually ate them raw. May your fondest memories get you through this tough time. Ron,Mavis,Megan and Lauren.

With deepest sympathy to Mrs. Phillips, Leslie, and the rest of the Phillips family on the passing of Mr. Phillips.
