Steve & family,

On behalf of my wife and family, as well as my co workers here at CFRC Charlottetown I want to express my deepest sympathies. I never got to meet Cyndi but it is not hard to tell that she was a terrific person, and a great source of life for everyone she encountered. We’ll keep her in our thoughts and prayers here in PEI.

Steve & family: Please accept my sincere condolences on the untimely passing of Cyndi. My thoughts & prayers are with you and your family during this very difficult time.

Steve and family
So sorry to hear about Cindy. Know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Truly saddened to hear . Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

My thoughts and prayers go to Cindy’s family at this time of loss. Cindy and her sister were two of my first and favorite piping instructors at ACSTC Argonaut in the late 1980’s. I will always carry fond memories of her. I have enjoyed much success as a professional piper in this life and I owe some of that to her instruction and care during my youth.

Dear Steve, Ryan, Erin, Cathie, and Mr. Urquhart, my thoughts have not been far from since learning the tragic news Friday morning. I have been overwhelmed. I cannot imagine your grief. I am just too far away to see you in person, but know I am and will continue to send you much support, comfort, prayers, and love. I hope the great outpouring of love and support from those near and afar will give you some strength and comfort in these difficult days. You are not alone. Much love,
Mora MacDonald, Sackville, NB

Truly saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Cyndi. To her family and friends, my heartfelt condolences during your time of bereavement. We worked closely together as both pipers and officers within the CIC. May you all take comfort in the wonderful memories you have of her! Praying for you all.

Sincere and deepest condolences to the family and friends of Cyndi Meaney. She was part of a much larger “family” – and family stick together and support each other. She will be deeply missed.

Steven and family, we were so saddened to hear of Cyndi’s passing, words cannot describe the heartache we feel for you all. Hold dear to your heart all the wonderful memories you’ve shared and let them give you comfort in the days to follow. Sincere sympathy to all her loved ones.

I met Cyndi years ago at cadet camp in Ipperwash, Ontario. It was a memorable experience and Cyndi and I wrote each other many times. Over the years we went our separate ways and didn’t meet again until 2010. My baby boy William was in the NICU at the Janeway and he was gravely ill. My husband and I were scared out of our minds, watching our baby surrounded by equipment and a stream of doctors and nurses working diligently to care or him. And suddenly there was a familiar face. A friend. It meant the world to me that Cyndi was there with us. She was a special person and I will always remember her.

I am deeply saddened by the loss that you and your family have encountered. My condolences and sincere heartfelt sympathies to you and your kids at this difficult time. Thinking of you all.

Our thoughts are with Cyndi’s family and our hearts are heavy. May you all find comfort in the many memories you have made and always hold them close in your heart. To Steve – our door is always open – when you need a friend, you know we will be there. To Erin and Ryan – your mom will always be guiding you and smiling with you. Her love will always be with you.

My deepest sympathies to Cyndi’s family. She was an amazing nurse, great co-worker and a very proud wife and mother who spoke often and fondly about her husband and children. She will be deeply missed in the operating room.
