Obituary
It is with deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Dana Albert Brown of St. Anthony, on July 11, 2020, age 33.
Dana will be sadly missed by his father Dwayne Rowbottom and stepfather Donald McGrath, his son Cooper who is his pride and joy (Cooper’s mother Jessica Randell).
Preceded by his mom Louise Brown, grandparents Mary Jane and George Rowbottom, Selma and Albert Brown.
There will be a private family viewing, followed by cremation. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
My sincere condolences to all of Dana’s family, friends & loved ones ???? I’m truly sorry for his tragic & sudden loss.
I was both shocked & devastated to hear of his passing. He was such a sweet, kind, friendly, gentle & loving guy who had an absolutely amazing sense of humour ❤️ My cheeks would consistently hurt from all the smiling & laughing I did thanks to him ????
The love, pride & admiration he felt for his son Cooper & both his father’s was beyond evident to me…not only in his words but also through his smiles & immediate happiness whenever they came up, which was quite often in the short amount of time I had the honour of knowing him ❤️
My heart is absolutely broken & I will miss his terribly but I feel incredibly grateful & blessed to have met him. I honestly never knew how wholeheartedly & quickly I could come to love someone until I met Dana…he was a beautiful soul & will forever be in my heart ❤️ Until we meet again xoxo ????

I am so sorry for Dana’s passing. He helped me get through a very hard time in my life and I am riddled with grief that he is gone. I’ll miss hearing from him and how he always made me laugh, even through the bad times.

Hearing of Dana’s passing has left my heart feeling broken and I have a profound sense of loss and deep sadness for Dwayne and all of Dana’s loved ones in our family. I am sad that Cooper has to say good bye to his dad at such a young age but also glad and thankful that Cooper had a dad that loved him unconditionally and Cooper truly was Dana’s pride and joy ❤ I remember seeing lots of videos and photos of Cooper and his dad in skates on the ice and Dana had Cooper on the ice as soon as Cooper could walk. I remember Dana calling and talking to uncle Nate about his excitement over Cooper and sharing with uncle Nate that he was happy and doing well. I am so sorry you are grieving the loss of your boy Dwayne and wish we could be there in person to console you and grieve this loss. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers today and will be in the many days ahead.

My Sincere condolences to you and you family through this devastating time. Dana was a good friend of mine and to countless others as well, his depart will leave many in sadness as Dana had more friends than I could fathom. As the wheel of life keeps turning our paths had crossed many times from childhood to recent times and as I sit here writing this I really wish he was still here to talk about the great times we had together. No words can do justice for what you are going through at this time I know that but Dana was an all around good person and would literally give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. We last spoke just a couple weeks ago and we’re planning the next time we would meet up once all this was over but little did I know it would have been the last time we would have the opportunity. I already miss him and the thought of not having the chance to see him again is leaving myself and many others stricken with grief. Dana was there to help me through a very tough time in my life when I lost a brother and he lost a very close friend and I am forever great full to him for that. It only makes it worse knowing I can’t be there to help you all through this tough time like he did for me and I’m very sorry for that. I want you all to know that I will make sure cooper knows what kind of person his dad was and that his memory will never be forgotten. I can only imagine he’s up there rite now lacing up his skates to play hockey on and endless sheet of ice with all the other greats and fitting rite in. Rest In Peace Dana my dear friend, until we meet again.
