Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Daphne Joyce Morris (Vey), aged 83 years. Predeceased by her husband Robert, daughter Valerie Noel, and parents Daniel and Julia Vey.
Leaving to mourn her loving children Daphne Noel, Wendy Grouchy (Darrell), Bentley Noel and heather Noel; grandchildren Tiffany Rose (Nick), Brandon Gibson, and great-grandchildren Chloe and Declan Rose, sister Sybil Blackmore (Job), brothers Chelsey Vey (Joan) and Raye Vey (Vernita), sisters-in-law Ada Vey (Petley-deceased) and Margaret Vey (Harvey-deceased), and a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She will be sadly missed by her family and forever in our hearts. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation due to Covid-19.
So sorry to hear about Mrs. Morris passing away. She was a very dear friend to my grandmother Ann Pearce. RIP Mrs Morris may your wings in heaven be as big as your heart was here on earth.
Condolences to your family on the passing of your mom. l have known Joyce since kindergarten when I started with Heather and my heart goes out to you and your family. She was one beautiful lady inside and out and her family was everything to her. As you remember her life, may you cherish and remember all the good times together and keep them forever in your hearts. Rest in peace Joyce.????

We remember your Mother with fondness, having known her for many many years. She was an integral part of life at the Anglican Cathedral as a member of the A.C.W. and W.H.M.A. Her contributions to the support of the Cathedral at the two annual sales and the Crypt tea room were a pleasure to see.
Daphne, with her Sister-in-Law and best friend Joan, would produce all manner of needlework and knitted goods, it was always a pleasure to stop by their stall to pick something up and have a chat.
Daphne was a good friend to my Mother Doreen, my Aunt Gwendy and others of the A.C.W. group who met on Tuesday evenings.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time, may Daphne be at peace in the nearer presence of God.

I knew Joyce since the late 60s, and was friends with Valerie And Daphne.
She was always such a kind and caring lady. I met her shopping about 4 years ago, and after all that time she still remembered me
