Obituary
On Thursday, October 22, 2020, Darryl Penney, loving husband and father passed away peacefully at the age of 41. He fought a long and courageous battle with VHL, while inspiring everyone around him throughout his journey.
Darryl’s one true passion was spending time with his daughter, which included teaching her sports, sharing his love of music, cooking, trivia and many family game nights.
He is predeceased by his mother Brenda Penney, friend and cousin Ryan Dunphy, grandfather Otto Gray and grandmother Helen Penney.
Darryl will be forever loved and remembered by his daughter, Chloe Penney and wife Colleen Warren.
Also left with loving memories are his Aunt Joy (Kenton and Dylan), sister Jennifer (John), Nan Gray (Barbara), Uncle Paul (Marianne), father Robert Penney, brother Robbie (Nancy), mother and father in law, Christine and Junior, sister in law Jennifer (Chris), his nieces and nephews, Jackson, Jonah, Brandon, Allie, Erin, Peyton, Ryan and a large circle of family and friends.
At Darryl’s request there will be no formal funeral service. Instead his daughter Chloe would like to plan a small celebration in honor of her father for close family members at a later date.
Remembrances may be made in the form desired by family and friends.
