I was young when I knew my cousin Derrick,, We would visit him in Chomedey with my parents, we would swim in his pool and he would tell us great stories about his work and travels. His spirit and knowledge impacted me, and his advice while I was studying was generous and he helped my along my path.
The most sincere condolences and love from all of us.

Our sincerest condolences to Sharon and family, my cousin Julie and family and my Uncle Ray and Patsy. I remember when I was just a kid, Derrick took me to a Bell Central Office in Montreal to give me a glimpse into how the phone system worked. He was so passionate about the subject. 20 years later, my wife and I visited Derrick and the family in Newfoundland and they were such caring hosts. We spoke for hours about all subjects, including telecom and phone systems. Its a wonderful memory, I’ll never forget. God bless.

So sorry to hear of Derrick’s passing. I knew him from his days with Nortel when he first came to Newfoundland. He came here to commission cellular service for Newtel. It was during that time he met you and was captivated by you.
My deepest condolences on you loss.

So sorry to hear of your husband’s passing. Thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time.

Love and prayers to all Derricks loved ones especially Sharon, Natalie and Rachael, Julie, Bruce and Uncle Ray. I will always remember Derrick’s big spirit, his hearty laugh and clever sense of humor. I remember him most when I was a girl, I was the little cousin wanting to get into his room to see what mysterious and magical things he seemed to have. He was so smart and always had something to say that made me laugh…. I pray God comforts and strengthens the whole family and that God’s closeness and love help soothe your pain.
