Mrs. Foltz and Family,

We were truly sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Foltz. He has been one of our members for 35 years and was truly a delight. He would stop by the office every few months for his Tilley socks, as we know these were his favourites. Wishing warmest regards and condolences to you and your family.

Dear Dr Foltz, Ian and Warren,

I was so sad and shocked to hear of Navin’s passing. I know it is probably of little comfort to you know, but I am glad it was in peace. I remember him being so calm. My very deepest sympathies to you all.

Love
Madhuri

Dear Mrs. Nevin Foltz,
I am truly sorry to learn of Nevin’s passing. Nevin and I and my brother Sam spent lots of adventureous times together while we were boys growing up. We lived on the same block on Church St. in Ephrata, went to the same school. We fished together and although I was the youngest of the three I remember when Nevin was old enough to go hunting and his Dad was the dog. Lots of rabbits and pheasants for supper. How I wished I was old enough to go hunting then! We named him nevindonaldduck and he called us the graveyard boys, samandterry! Wow- that’s a long time ago!
I have great special memories of a good guy who was my childhood friend.
My warmest regards to you and your family,

Dear Jane,
Dear Jane,
I was sorry to learn only today of Nevin’s passing. We were colleagues in Physics for so many years, as the two of you came to MUN a year after I did. He was always a friendly colleague and a calming influence during heated faculty meetings – he will be remembered by all who knew him as a kind and courteous person. He has left this life too early, but I am glad that he seems to have left it so tranquilly in his sleep – a good way to go. Warmest regards to you, and condolences to you and your family.

Such a sudden departure. We are so very sorry for your loss. Our deepest sympathies to Jane, sons and the whole family.

Dear Jane,
I am extremely sorry to hear about the sudden passing away of Nevin, my good and respected friend. All have to go and it is a blessing that he left without any suffering. Please accept my condolences on the loss.

Dear Jane, Warren, Ian, and family,

My deepest condolences to you on Nevin´s death. I can´t believe that Nevin passed away. Unfortunately I didn´t have a chance to meet Nevin but I have heard only good things about him. I know that he was a kind, honest, and a very talented person. Stay strong during this difficult time.

Dear Jane & family,
So sorry to hear about Nevin, he’s been a part of my life for almost all of my time in St John’s, first around the Chemistry Physics Building and more recently at the end of Quidi Vidi Lake. I am sorry that I won’t be meeting him again. Please accept my condolences

Jane and family, I was immensely saddened to hear of the passing of Nevin. It is only recently that Penny and I feel we have got to know him from when he came into the office for dental care.
We had many good chats and found much in common and it was a privelege to take care of you both.
Our hearts go with you at this time of loss. Alas due to the fact that I am just out of hospital following a knee replacement I cannot attend the funeral.
Please accept our best wishes.

Dear Jane.
I was sorry to read of Nevin’s passing. I extend my condolences to you and family.

Gene and I were shocked and saddened to learn of Nevin’s very unexpected passing. We’ll miss him on wildflower outings and birdwatching forays. Both of you have been our friends for so many years and we will sincerely miss him. May all your good memories give you some comfort and peace at this very sad time. Our sympathies are with you and Ian and Warren and families.

We are deeply sadden by Nevin’s sudden passing and very much appreciated his contribution to the efforts of Salmonid Association of Eastern Newfoundland (SAEN).

Hearing of Nevin’s passing was sad and unexpected news. He was certainly a charismatic and much-loved member of our “birding” community – always eager to share his knowledge, experience and photos, and even more eager to see and learn new things. I always had reason to smile when I ran into Nevin and Jane “out in the field”, appreciated the warmth and positivity he always exuded, and enjoyed our conversations. He will certainly be missed.
My thoughts and condolences go out to Jane and family.

Dear Jane, Ian, Warren and families, I am so sad at the loss of Nevin. He was one of Cliff’s and my dearest friends. How ironic that they passed away within just over two months of each other. I’m grieving doubly now. Those of us who survive must cherish our memories of the good times that we all had together. Never to be forgotten!

Rest In Peace, dear Nevin. You will be forever loved and remembered through your many wonderful photos and wonderful memories.
