The family extends enormous thanks and gratitude to the Neurology Medical Team attending Elfreda at the Health Sciences Complex and to the Nurses and Staff of Glenbrook Lodge for the special care they provided to her during the five years she called Glenbrook home. The kindness, the fun, and the friendship that Elfreda experienced there, and especially the level of comfort provided in her final hours, will never be forgotten by her family.

Sincere sympathy to Elfreda’s family. She was a devoted volunteer to the Canadian Red Cross, and always made staff visits extra pleasant. A life well lived

Dianne and Cherry,,

We had the absolute privilege of getting to know your mom since May of last year and it quickly became very clear what a wonderful and kind lady she was. We spent many Saturday mornings drinking Tim Hortons coffee and having a great chat. We will miss her so much! Mom was so lucky have her as a roommate and a friend.

To Elfreda’s family,

What a beautiful and kind mother you had! Of course you all know that. She was always so pleasant when we visited her roommate, my sister, Joan. Joan will certainly miss her. What a surprise we got when she told us that my husband’s mother, Dorcas and her were close friends as they grew up in Salmon Cove. Dorcas, who passed away in March of this year, kept in touch with her from time to time over the years. You are in our prayers. God bless.
