Obituary
Passed suddenly on May 6 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital at the age of 55. Predeceased by her parents Lorraine and Frank Collins. Leaving to mourn her loving husband Kevin Joseph Madden, stepchildren Kevin (Dianne), Jason (Tanya), Angela (Nelson), Paul (Natasha); brothers Melvyn (Barbara), John (Kerry), Neil (Rita); sisters Christine (Wilson) and Frances; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, and many friends, including best friend Angela (Patrick). Special thank you to Dr. Squibb and staff of the Whitbourne Clinic, Smith’s Ambulance, and staff at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital for their care and support. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, St. John’s, on Wednesday May 8 and Thursday May 9 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Friday, May 10 at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations to the SPCA in Liz’s memory may be made.

So very sorry to read about Liz’s passing. She was my babysitter a long time ago. My condolence to her family and friends for a life that ended way to soon.

Its with sadness we heard about Liz.’s passing. Our deepest sympathy to Kevin and family for the enormous loss you must feel. We have missed Liz’s wonderful disposition since she left us here in Toronto to return to her much loved NFLD. May perpetual light shine upon her.
Kevin and family, Christine and family please accept my deepest sympathy . in the sudden passing of this very special lady. I think of the little girl I took to Kindergarten on her first day and my heart flutters to think that this little girl has lived her life and has now gone to eternal rest. May she rest in piece.
