Sorry to hear of Betty’s passing, I worked with Betty for many years and we kept in touch since our working days. Condolences to family and friends.

I was sorry to hear that Betty had passed away. I have many good memories of her when I was growing up next door and in latter years I always enjoying seeing in her garden when I was walking in my old neighbourhood.
Condolences to her family & friends.

Although I lived on Forest Road for many years it was at St. John’s Memorial Stadium where I met Betty. She was there the day I met my late husband Eric Baird and we chatted often ad talked about the old days. We had many laughs while watching boys only. She was a fabulous skater and loved to skate to great music. Her other love was her garden and she took me through a few times and explained her choices. Rest in peace.

I grew up living next door to the wonderful O’Grady family. They were all so friendly and good neighbours. I remember Betty always looking so nice, smiling and chatting with everybody on the road. She was a lovely lady. In recent years I’d often have the good fortune to meet her at the supermarket where we’d catch up on each other’s news. It was always such a treat to see her.
I remember a conversation with a lady who knew Betty growing up and she recalled to me what a terrific skater Betty was. Later I relayed this story to Betty and she beamed “I loved skating”
I believe Betty is probably skating now.
Condolences to the Family.
