Dianne, Nancy and families, so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. I did her hair for many years, lots of good chats and laughs. From her conversations, I know her family was her life, she spoke so lovingly of you all.

I was very sorry to hear of Elsie’s passing but I feel blessed as her family physician to have known her many years.
I will always treasure our chats about golf!
May God bless her family and friends during this difficult time.

Diane, Nancy and families, I was so saddened to hear of your Mom’s passing. I have many fond memories of time spent with you and your parents at Fling’s Pond with Uncle Cliff and Aunt Velma…….. Aunt Elsie was a wonderful berry-picker! May she Rest In Peace.

Dianne, Nancy and your families,
Pat & I were so sorry to hear about your mom’s passing. She was such a sweet and generous lady. Aunt Elsie and Mom had such a special friendship, a bond that lasted their whole lives. Mom and Dad enjoyed so much time together with Aunt Els and Uncle Harry, especially their bridge games up in Middle Gull. (Dare say the cards are now ready for another big game.).
May all your good memories of her keep her alive in your hearts and thoughts always. She will me missed by all who knew her,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all,
With deepest sympathy,
Janet & Pat Hearn

May your understanding , love , faith and prayers give you strength and comfort now and in the days to come. Her legacy of a life well lived will be an example and inspiration to us all.

Dianne and Nancy- so sorry to hear of Your mother’s passing. She and your father were great friends of my parents ( Lewis and Phyllis Cook , Laughlin Crescent). They shared many happy times together and Elsie and Mom enjoyed many an afternoon of bridge and curling. Dad and Harry escaped on some of these afternoons for a drive and a pint or two at Ben’s! Thinking of you at this time of loss. Doug Cook

Nancy Diane and families
I am so sorry to hear of your mother’s passing.
My mind travels back over many memories from long ago when your parents, and sometimes you girls, came out to uncle Cliff Pike’s cabin.
Oh what wonderful times we had.
Your mom was an avid berry picker, and each season the goal was to get berry picking before she came out, because she was good at cleaning the bushes !
You mother was always happy warm and exciting to be around.
I know you will miss her so much.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Nancy, Diane and Families:

Diane and Nancy:
I was saddened to learn of Aunt Elsie’s passing. I loved my visits with her when I visited St. John’s. She was always very welcoming and we would chat for quite a while over cups of tea and her wonderful baked goods. She was always very interested in news of the family.
I will miss those visits.
Sincere condolences.
Dolly.

We all have fond memories of Aunt Elsie, who was such a good friend to Mom and Dad (Shirley and Edgar Belbin). They went on many trips around Newfoundland together as well as to Europe. We’ll always recall Elsie’s competitive spirit when it can to a hand of cards. Condolences to the family..
