It was an honor to know Evelyn Kelly. She treated me as a son for the brief period I knew her.
Evelyn was a courageous and strong woman who didn’t let life’s tragedies stop her from raising and providing for her family when her husband passed. Although she didn’t suffer fools gladly, she had a heart of gold and commanded the respect and love of everyone she knew.
She was indeed one of the most influential and unforgettable souls I have known in my life. May God bless her.

I will always love you till the end of time until I can join be with you and dad at that other place

My deepest condolences to the Kelly family. Thoughts & prayers are with you during this time.

Geraldine and family.Sorry to learn of your Mom’s passing. Please accept my sincere condolences.

I am so sorry for the Kelly family , Carl, Geraldine, David and Eunice ! Mrs Kelly was someone we grew up with living across from the grocery store all my life until it closed! It was a joy to see her this winter with Carl and Carol and for us to have such a great chat about old times! I couldn’t believe how she could still remember all and every detail of my family and sharing funny stories about are visits to the store! We shared a big hug and the time with spent there talking was the hightllight of my day! She will be very much missed by my family as well as my own children Larry and Chris as we still lived around the corner after I married! She was a wonderful lady and I will miss her dearly! May you rest in peace Mrs Kelly!

These events are always a bit of a surprize but you had a long life of over 90 years. I never was able to go to St. John’s to visit you in many years with my busy life. I will be reminded of you as kind person willing to give the “shirt off your back”. Rest in peace.

My goodness. I have so many childhood memories of going over to “Mrs. Kelly’s” Store for a snack after school, some one cent candies on a Saturday, or some item we forgot at the grocery store & needed for supper. It was our neighbourhood “place”. Rarely, and I mean RARELY would you pass by Kelly’s to make the long trek to Stockwoods. LOL. Mrs. Kelly was quite good to us & a staple of our part of town. My wife & I still talk frequently about Kelly’s Store & our memories there.

This lady will not be forgotten by us.

Please accept our most sincere condolences.

Sending our love and sincere sympathy on your loss.
We pray that your special memories will bring you comfort and that you will share those special memories with your own precious grandchildren through your stories.

Please accept our deepest sympathy in your time of sorrow.
