Passed peacefully away in the presence of his family at the S. A. Glenbrook Lodge on Saturday, December 1st, 2018, Frederic Anderson, aged 72 years. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Diana Anderson. Leaving behind with cherished memories are his wife of 49 years, Judy; daughter Susan Squibb (Gary), grandchildren Lucas and Victoria, of Paradise; son Michael Anderson (Jocelyn), grandchildren Sarah and Rebecca, of Edmonton. Also leaving to mourn are his brothers, Dick (Winnie), Tim (Dianne), Bill, and Tom (Liz); sisters-in-law Norma Chappell (Brian) and Kathy Walker; 4 nieces, 9 nephews; as well as many extended relatives and friends. A very special Thank You is extended to the wonderful staff of the Glenbrook Lodge for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Fred and his family during the past 8 years. The family will be receiving visitors at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, St. John’s. Visitation on Monday, December 3rd from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, December 4th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Wednesday December 5th at 2:00 p.m. with inurnment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Fred’s memory may be made to the S.A. Glenbrook Lodge.

Bill, Tom, Tim and Families. So sorry to hear of your Brother’s passing. You and your brothers were hockey buddies for years and I knew Fred briefly only to know him as a good and decent man and a Gentleman and I share your sorrow at this most difficult time.

Our most sincere condolences to the Anderson family. I grew up with Fred and we went to Bishop Field and Bishops College together. I have many fond memories of those days with Fred. I know he will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
