So Sorry To Here Of Gary Passing WE Went To School Together B F C R I P

Eva, so sorry to read of your Son’s passing – my thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time.

First met Gary when we were schoolmates at Booth Memorial High in St. John’s in 69-70. I was in Gr. 9 and he was in Gr. 10. I got to know and understand him better when we played on the school soccer team. He was a great team player and all around nice guy. The next yr. 70-71 we became classmates until we finished school together in ’72. Our mutual interest in the military made for many interesting chats. We were both in different cadet corps in the city. After high school , to no ones surprise, I found out Gary had joined the Navy. I almost joined but ended up having a career on the Railway and moving to western Canada. I lost touch after that. I was in shock and disbelief to see his obit. in the Telegram. He was one of the Good Guys. Certainly taken way too soon! I was proud to have called him my friend so many yrs. ago. RIP Gary. I’m sure you’ve earned it……………Hope we meet again on the other side…………

Mrs. Hutchings, Wayne & Family, and Gary’s Family – so shocked and sorry to hear of Gary’s passing. Hopefully in time, your special memories of Gary & all the Family times will help you get through the sadness. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers during the difficult times ahead.
