Genevieve (Jennie) Emberley

September 6, 1954 to September 3, 2016


Passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at St. Clares Mercy Hospital at the age of 61 years. Predeceased by her parents James and Gertrude Boland (Martin), her husband Joseph Emberley, brother Simon Boland and sisters Sarah Kopp and Margret Kinsella. Loving remembered by her children Herb, Louise (Jerry) and Joey, best friend Cindy P (Don), grandchildren Carrie-Lynn, Leonard and  Jennifer, special niece Lisa and Jennies longtime  companion Jerry (Terrance) Squire, brother Jim Boland (Theresa), sister Carrie Walsh (Pat),Helen Sweeney (Mick), Mary Doyle (Paddy), Cindy Boland. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Wednesday from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Teresa’s Parish on Thursday September 8, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. Cremation to Follow.  Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to MS Society.
