Obituary
Passed away suddenly but peacefully, on Friday August 31st, 2018 Geoffrey William Harding, age 56 years. Predeceased by his grandparents William and Sarah Warford, his father, Frank Harding and his aunt, Dorothy Poff. Leaving to mourn his loving mother, Shirley Harding-White (nee Warford); also other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, September 6th. Funeral service will take place on Friday, September 7th, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Logy Bay Rd. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations in Geoff’s memory may be made to VOWR Radio Station.

Deepest sympathy. I was shocked to hear of Geoffs passing..I watched him grow from a wonderful little boy, to a very special man..he kept me in touch during Gerry’s illness.., always. Stopped for a chat whenever he seen me… He was always so kind and thoughtful..God has gained a very special angel . Please remember I am always just a phone call away.
Very sorry to hear of Geoff’s passing. Went to school with him and always saw him the the Avalon Mall over the past few years and always stopped and had a chat. My sincere condolences to the family during this sad time.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Geoff’s passing. We work together for 7 1/2 years at Central kitchen. He was a great friend and coworker who always took the time to get to know all of the new staff coming in to our building. Geoff will be missed by all of us. Sending my deepest condolences.

Shirley: John and I were saddened to hear that Geoff had passed away. I know how much he meant to you. We will miss meeting him at the TC Mall in Carbonear where you and he sometimes visited. I have known Geoff from the years that you and I worked together at the Federal Department of Fisheries and Oceans and I always felt that he was a real kindhearted young man, someone of whom I know you were proud. He was special to you as you were special to him and I’m sure you have many good memories of him. We both hope that God’s blessing will be upon you as you face the days ahead. Take care!

Mrs. Harding, wishing I was there to give you my condolences in person. I received this news not just 30 minutes ago. I am deeply saddened and in shock. Geoff was such a great guy, who still held a special place in my heart. He was loved and welcomed by my family. He always made sure to email or text me on special occasions or holidays. Geoff touched a lot of people with his kindness and friendship. A good man has left too soon.

Very sorry to hear Geoff has passed on. Always friendly and great to work side by side with at Rogers and formally Cable Atlantic, not so many months since I last spoke with him. Deep condolences to his family.
