Obituary
Passed peacefully away at Health Science Centre, St. John’s Nov. 15th, Georgina (Jean) Abbott age 92 of St. Philips (formally of Flat Island, Bonavista Bay). Predeceased by husband Roland Daniel Abbott St. Philips (formally of Wesleyville, Bonavista Bay). Leaving to mourn her three children Daphne (husband Ed Noseworthy), Donald (wife Julia nee Lewis), and Keith (wife Lori nee Rideout); Also leaving to mourn Grandchildren, Colleen Abbott, Carla Noseworthy, Jody Noseworthy, Suzette Moss (spouse Brad Moss), Jamie Abbott (spouse Dena Ball), and Great grandchildren, Coady King, Emily King, Rachel Moss, Julianne Moss, Nathan Abbott, James Moss, Tucker and Harper. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Saturday November 17 and Sunday November 18 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Monday November 19 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Augustine’s Anglican Church with interment to follow at Kenmount Road Anglican Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean’s memory may be made to Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Foundation.
