Obituary
Passed peacefully away on Monday, November 5th, 2018 at the Health Sciences Centre, Gerald Genge, age 67 years. Predeceased by his parents Isaac and Jane Genge, sister, Judy Mclean. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Rubena (nee Upshall); daughter Melanie Perrier (Dwayne); son, Gerald (Melissa); his adoring grandsons: Mathew and Cody Perrier; sister Augustine Dredge (Daniel); brothers: Martin Genge (Donna), Stan (Winnie), Ike (Pamela) and Clarence (Winnie); brother-in-law, Percy Mclean. He will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 9th, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Matthew’s Church, Anchor Point, NL. Interment to follow in St. Matthew’s Anglican Cemetery, Anchor Point.

Great Picture, it brings back great memories of him primarily in high school! Haven’t had much contact over the years but when ever we met he always said hello with that face! A beautiful guy!

So sorry to hear of Gerald’s passing. He was always in a cheerful mood and a ready smile. I don’t think we ever passed, either on site or in town that we didn’t wave or had a few words. Rest in peace my friend.

Gerald was a great guy. In the entire time I worked with him at the mine he was always cheerful and a pleasure to work with.
