Obituary
Gerald Tilley, age 87 years, passed away on October 7, 2019 at the Health Science Centre. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Marion, sons David (Doris) and George; five grandchildren: Susan (Liam) Squires, Sarah (Darrell) Critch, Stephen (Erin Alexander), Adam (Jessica), and Laura (Noel) Sparrow; seven great-grandchildren: Joshua, Chase, Stephen, Jacob, Miriam, Benjamin, and Dawson. Also leaving to mourn his sister Audrey and his brother Doug (Gertie), as well as a circle of special nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. Predeceased by his father Clarence Tilley, mother Jane (Porter) Tilley, brother Roy, and sister Shirley Ryder. Visitation at Carnell’s Funeral Home on Freshwater Road on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery on Blackmarsh Road. No flowers by request.

George and family. I was so sorry to hear of your father’s passing. It is always hard to lose a parent even when they have had a full and satisfying life. Please accept my sincere sympathy and I know you have many good memories of your dad to treasure.
