Obituary

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of Ingrid Hawley (nee Coultas) at the age of 61, with her loving husband Paul by her side. She is predeceased by her mother, Iris Coultas (nee Tandy) and her father, Angus Coultas. Left to mourn but to also celebrate her life is her devoted husband Paul Hawley, daughter Cassandra (Ron) and precious granddaughter Harper. She also leaves to mourn brothers Bill (Frances), Bud (Annette), sisters Helen and Heather (Bob) and twin brother David (Heather), the Hawley family members , Rosalie (Wayne), Jocelyn (Barry) , Ann (Paul) , Sandy (Bob) , Dave (Joey, Deceased) as well as a large number of nieces, nephews and cousins; in particular Diane Bishop (Robert).

Ingrid will always be remembered for her loving, caring ways, her detailed recall of stories of any past occasion, her keen eye for decor, her strong connection to her social media friends and her ability to always find something for Paul to do around the house. Always loved, always missed. Family get togethers will never be the same without her witty conversation and unique laughter.

A cause that was always near and dear to Ingrid’s heart was Organ Donation due in large part to her close relationship with late sister-in-law Joey Hawley and good friend Phyllis Power.  Please consider Organ and Tissue Donation. Our condolences to the family. Whenever we would have a chance to visit Newfoundland and get together with the Coultas family it was always a joy to talk with Ingrid. She would always talk to you like an old friend that you had know forever. Socializing with her on Facebook we shared a lot of humerous moments about family, parenting, and grandparenting. Will always cherish those memories. God bless and comfort you Paul and all the family.
Love from

Marilyn Hennebury Dewling: a voice from the past here:
I was so sad to read of Ingrid’s death in the Telegram.
What a great shock to you all !
I met Ingrid and Paul in Tampa airport on our last visit to Florida.
I kept looking at her and she at me, so I approached her , and we had a “great chat”.
Ingrid and my brother Gerard, were friends in the good old days of school, so we started there,
and had a grand “catch up”. I can still hear her laugh and see her beautiful smile,
her laugh would make me laugh!
Gerard lives in Calgary and he was very sad to hear the news of Ingrid’s passing.
The loss of a sibling is very hard, and add to that the youngest of the family, Ingrid, is a great loss to bear.
God bless you all at this most difficult time.

To Ingrid’s family,,
Please accept out heartfelt condolences on the passing of your beautiful wife, mom, grandmother and sister. We were saddened and shocked to hear of Ingrid’s sudden passing. We were friends with Ingrid back in the “old days” and our memories are of a happy, funny, loving, beautiful person with an infectious smile and laugh. Very recently I was sorting through old photographs and found some from a Halloween party in 1981 where Ingrid was dressed as a perfect Princess Leia, a real beauty! Ive been in touch with Ingrid through social media over the last few years and she shared a picture of her beautiful granddaughter last year. She was so very proud. May your memories keep her alive in your hearts forever.
