Obituary
Passed peacefully away on January 7th, 2018, in the presence of her loving family, Irene Kinsella (nee Martin).
Leaving to mourn a large family and circle of friends. Forever loved and predeceased by her father Victor, and mother Catherine, brothers Christopher, Joseph, Victor Jr (Betty), and sister Mary (Adrian Squires).
Left to mourn, her husband Gerald, son Gerald Jr (Jeanette Gushue), daughter and caregiver Margret (George Mercer), two precious grandchildren Brady and Kaleigh Kinsella, “Her World”, in laws Heather Stephen and angel up above nanny Lorraine Fowler. Brothers Blackie (Marie), Gord (Mary), Dave (Shelia), Rick, Gary (Valerie), Brian (Mull), Ronnie (Sherry), Don and Rose Squires. Sisters Olive Pike (Ron), Ruth Cable (Benjamin), Barbara Murphy (Bill), Linda Whitten (Harry). Special thanks to nephews Perry Martin (Tammy Hollett), Jonathan Martin (Nikki), and special niece Jennifer Martin (Brad).
Visitation will take place at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Tuesday January 9th from 2 – 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, January 10th at 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.

It was so sad to be reading about Irene’s passing. Please accept our sincere condolences and know that you are in our thoughts. She will be missed. I’m happy I spoke to her a few weeks ago, when I called Mom while she was visiting.

I can’t begin to tell you how sorry we are. It is with a very heavy heart that I send this condolence. When we talked about Irene yesterday we found ourselves smiling through our tears. and that lifted us. We loved Irene. Everyone young and old loved Irene and it wasn’t just because of her popsicles and tarts.
She was a special person who touched many people with her positive outlook and ever present smile. She always laughed and we will always be remember her for that. I will miss her hugs and so will Darryl, Matthew Brandon and Victoria

Very sorry to hear of your precious loss. She was always fun of smiles and energy.
I remeber the days when younger visiting and seeing her bake or washing cloths. She was non stop. I also remember the invites to go blueberry picking and or Bingo. Always lucky there.

I am so sad to learn of Irene’s passing. She was such a wonderful woman. We worked together at Kenmount bingo and was always concerned about my health and asking about my little boy.
