Obituary

Passed peacefully away at home on April 22, John Joseph Foley (2020), age 68.  Predeceased by his loving wife Eileen Foley (2013), his parents Michael and Mildred Foley (1984) and his brother-in-law Donald Druken (2019).  Leaving to mourn with loving memories his son Johnny Foley (Kim), Dana Poole (Corey), two grandsons Kevin Foley and Codey Foley, one brother George Foley (Bridget), five sisters Debbie Foley, Barbara Stevenson (Gary), Dianne Pierce (Paul), Mary Druken and Michelle Quilty (Gary), many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

John was a loving and devoted Father and a friend to all whose lives he touched. He was always known for his big smile, great sense of humour, generosity, love for his wife and children and for always being the life of the party, he will be missed by many.

Cremation has taken place and funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date.

Donations in his memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Newfoundland & Labrador.

Sorry to hear of Johnny’s passing he was always a friendly person and my son will miss him he remembers growing up in the area and having big ole yearn’s with Johnny and was sadden to hear of his passing. thinking of the family at this time.

so sorry to hear about johnny may he rest in peace i remember how he though me to fix the chain on my bike

so sorry to hear about johnny .he will be missed ,so many childhood memories and laughs.i am sure he is with all his loved ones now . from linda and jim macdonald and the ryall family rip.

You were an amazing friend who always made time to chat whenever we seen each other, you had a huge heart and always asked about my boys and how my youngest was feeling( heart disease/high blood pressure) and that he was always on your mind. Rest in peace Johnny, you will be missed by everyone who knew you as you touched many lives in your lifetime. The love for your sisters you showed when your parents passed and you stepped in to help raise them and was one of the most selfless acts, you were truly a very special Brother to your siblings and they will miss you.
