Obituary

Lee, Patrick John – Passed away suddenly at his residence on Saturday, December 24th, 2016, Patrick John Lee, age 67 years. Predeceased by his parents, Jack and Laura; son, Gerard. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 48 years, Linda (nee Lacey); two sons: Shawn (Andrea) and Christopher (Christine); daughter, Karen Weir (Garrett); six grandchildren: Sarah, Shawn Matthew, Tristan, Teagan, Owen and Sophia; brother, John Lee; sisters: Lorraine Saulnier (Richard), Mary Hensley (William) and Marion Fagan (Len); great aunt, Sister Annette Hawco;

father and mother-in-law, Henry and Elsie Lacey; brothers-in-law; David (Janine), Stephen (Yvonne), Glen (Glenda), Doug (Angela); sisters-in-law: Elizabeth Bondurant, Debbie Dunne (Francis) and Christine Donovan (Terry); also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, December 27th, Wednesday, December 28th and Thursday, December 29th.

Cremation to follow. Funeral service will take place on Friday, December 30th, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Pius X Church, Smithville Crescent. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Janeway Children’s Hospital or a charity of one’s choice. it is never easy when we lose a loved one.
The bible Can offer some comfort.
Revelation 21:3,4 says, “God… will wipe all tears from their eyes and there will be no more death, suffering, crying or pain.”

Very sorry to hear of Paddy’s passing. It was a pleasure working with Paddy for many years. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this most difficult time.

I was very surprised and saddened when I was told that Paddy had passed away, he was a beautiful man, it was always a joy to visit Paddy Linda and his family and talk about old times and have a few laughs. to bad he passed during the Christmas season, which was his favorite time of of the year. I was shocked when my brother Bob called to tell me about Paddy. My mind goes back to earlier days in st. John’s where we had good times together as cousins and to days in Holyrood with our grandparents. I remember Paddy as always a positive person with a great sense of humour and love of family.
