Obituary
Passed suddenly at the Health Sciences Centre on September 24, 2018 at the age of 32. Predeceased by mother Michelle Ryan (2016), and grandparents Mary and William Ryan and James and Mary Quilty. Left with loving memories his father Tony, brother Tony Scott, a large number of aunts and uncles from the Ryan and Quilty families, special friend Paul Caddigan, his pet dog Sasha, and a large circle of friends. Visitation will be held from Carnell’s Visitation Centre, 1045 Topsail Road, Mount Pearl, on Friday, September 28 from 10am-9pm. Funeral Mass will be held from Holy Family Parish, Paradise, on Saturday, September 29 at 10am. Interment to follow at St. Thomas of Villanova Cemetery, Topsail. Flowers gratefully accepted, or a donation in Leo’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Richard has been my best friend, companion, and confidant for many years! We know one another inside and out and he has always been there for the people he cared for. I am so lucky to have had Richard in my life and the Love he has shown me will never be forgotten. A man like Richard is extremely rare and priceless and our relationship is the kind of thing that only comes around once in a lifetime and thanks to him I’ve experienced this unconditional love that I will no doubt never encounter again in this life. I will forever and always love you so much… Jasper and I both will miss you and I will be sure to express to him how he was once blessed to be cared for by such an outstanding person who would have done anything to make him happy. Rest easy because all is now well where you are ! <3

Tony my heart is with you though this week . I remember Richard as he was growing up one fond memory has the first time he tried to stand up . He put his back against the couch and push himself til he stood.He is at peace now with Michelle.
