Obituary
Passed peacefully away on May 13, 2017, age 82 years. Predeceased by husband Jack A. Brown, parents John and Emma Anstey, brothers Williams George, Israel, Fred, sister Bernice, brother in law Theo. Leaving to mourn children Lester (Inez), Elizabeth (Kevin), Bernice (Martin), Jackie (Barry) and Crystal (Tom); cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers and sisters Sylvester (Jane) Anstey Debbie (Jake) Dalton, Pat (Marie) Anstey, Daphne (Joe) Stead, Queenie (Hondus) Jennings, Wayne Anstey; sister in laws Marie Hunter, Kathleen (Gerald) Hunter. As well as loved nieces and nephews, friends near and far, and doctors and nurses at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Monday, May 14 from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, May 16 at 2 p.m. Interment will take place on Wednesday, May 17 in Salvage. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the MS Society are appreciated.
