Obituary

Passed peacefully away at St. Luke’s Homes on June 12th, 2021, aged 91 years.

Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Phoebe Bennett and her brother John.

Leaving to mourn her son, Harold; grandson, Jeremy; great-granddaughter Astraea and family; brothers Cyril, Raymond (Rosemarie); sister Mabel Coles (Ron); and many nieces and nephews.

Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Tuesday June 15th from 11:00AM – 2:00PM. Funeral service will be held from The Carnell Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, June 15th at 2:00 PM with interment to follow at the Kenmount Road Anglican Cemetery.

Donations in memory of Mary made be made to St. Luke’s Homes.

I am sorry to hear of Mary’s passing. Please accept my deepest and sincere condolence. I stayed (boarded) with Mary and family in Joe Batt’s Arm in 1962-63 while attending high school there. Thinking of you all at this time. God Bless.

Mary and myself served as members together with the ACW church group. I was so sad to hear of her passing. My condolences to her family.

I first met Mary when I joined the Cathedral ACW. Many years ago, and enjoy many happy memories of her, helping at the novelty stall at the church sales, ACW meetings, And our games of cards.. she was a true friend, and has joined many other friends in heaven. She was kind and considerate..and will be greatly missed. Deepest sympathies, Rest In Peace my friend.
