I was very blessed to get to know Carmel this past year. As we started chatting each day in her room we come to realize that she had been a good friend with my grandmother and grew up with my other grandmother; as she chatted she realized that I was the little one that my grandmother would talk about and that she met my mother before she passed in her young life. We shared many memories of St. Patrick’s. I will truly miss Carmel and her beautiful smile. I will treasure the memories that she shared with me.
