Obituary

Passed away September 26, 2020 at the Health Sciences Centre. Pre-deceased by his parents Aloysuis & Catherine Coffey; parents in law Leonard & Carol Anne Owens; brother Sean, niece Valerie and nephews, Joey and Eugene. Leaving to mourn his wife of 32 years Susan and their children son Joe (Ashley); daughters Jennifer, Carol Ann (Ian), Kayla (Roger); also his 4 grandchildren Nathan, Hayley, D.J, and Madison.

Also mourning his loss are brothers Eugene (Liz), Gary (Terri), Aloysuis (Annette), Joe

(Jenny), Sheldon (Melissa), Raymond (Dana) and sisters Jacqueline (Norm), Yvonne (Eric), Kimberley Ann (Ricco), Cathy Ann (Ken), and Caroline (Richard). Special Aunt Linda Coffey and special friend Kevin McGrath (Monica). He leaves behind a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  He will be sadly missed for his stories, songs, great spirit, and his laughter. Copper was a great man loved by all who knew him.   Cremation has taken place.  Funeral Service to take place on Sunday October 4, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in St. Brides, NL at 3:00 pm.

He loved you all so much. Cherish your memories and you’ll always have his heart. He will live on in all you. We loved him. always. Always forever in our hearts. My condolences to Melvin’s family ,wife children and siblings.I went to school with Copper and have a great deal of childhood memories in school and home around Cuslett.He was always full of fun and very comical.May he Rest In Peace and suffer no more .Love from Sylvia
