I am another of Mercedes’s nursing classmates. I am so sorry to know that she is no longer with us. I know our class will miss her and her family especially so. Please know she was loved and her memory will live on in many ways.
So sorry to hear of Mercedes’ passing. We were classmates of class ’67 at the General Hospital and lived on the 8th floor for three years. I have fond memories of that time and can still hear Mercedes sweet laughter. Cherish your memories
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To Randy and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Mercedes’ passing.
She was one of my classmates at the General Hospital Class of ’67. Her room was just up the hall from me for three years. We became family for those years. Our whole class was, and still are so close, it’s like losing a sister.
She was a special person.
My thoughts are with you and your family.
