Gibbons- Michael Paul- August 5th 2017 -August 6th-2017
It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Precious Son, Brother, Grandson, Nephew, Cousin and Godson Michael Paul Gibbons. Michael Paul gained his wings surrounded by his loving family, in the arms of his loving Mommy. He is predeceased by his Grandmother Linda Butler, Uncles Michael Hunt, and Daniel Haggett, Great Grandparents Mary Haggett and Chelsey Rose, Great Grandparents Paul and Theresa Gibbons, Great Uncles Ken Gibbons and Don Fleming, and Great Grandfather Kevin Fleming. Leaving to mourn are his loving Parents Stephen and Candy Gibbons, his Big Sister Sophia Gibbons, Grandparents Paul and Evelyn Gibbons, Great Grandmother Pauline Fleming. Aunts: Lorelei Forward (Chad), Natasha Sutton (Blair), Nikki Barrington (Marshall). Uncles: Gilbert Butler (Melissa), Donny Butler (Tina). Cousins: Brittany, Nicholas, P.J, Taylor and Ava. Godmother France Duguay, Godfathers: Keith Haynes and Chad Forward as well as a large circle of Family and Friends. The family of Michael Paul Gibbons would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Dr. G. Downton, and the staff of the Janeway NICU Team, as well as all of the OB Staff on the 3rd and 5th floor, you are all Angels in disguise. Cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 10th 2017, at 2pm, at Holy Innocents Anglican Church, 279 Paradise Road. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Janeway NICU in memory of Michael Paul Gibbons.

Candy, Stephen and Sophia. Words cannot express how sorry I am to hear of Michael’s death. For his short little time on this Earth he has certainly touched a lot of people. RIP little baby boy, may your wings soar high you precious little angel.

Candy. I wish I had the words to express to you how very sorry I am that you have lost your precious baby boy. Even though his time here on earth was short , he has been a part of your family and friends lives for many months and we all loved him already and are heartbroken that we won’t get to hold him or watch him grow but please know that he will never be forgotten and he will always be a special baby boy in so many hearts.

I am so very sorry to hear of your loss, my thoughts are with you all. I hope you find the strength in each other to get through the difficult days ahead.
I genuinely regret your loss. I hope that in due time your family receives God’s peace that excels all thought, so that it will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus. God is called the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation. Rest assured that God cares for all his creatures and he would never bring us suffering. A soothing scripture I like is Psalm 34:18 which reads: “Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart, and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.” He promised that in the Paradise, we will have the prospect of enjoying life without end, free from all problems, accidents, and sickness. Even our dead loved ones like Michael Paul will be resurrected. (Psalm 37:9, 29; John 5:28, 29) With all my sympathy for the loss of someone so precious.
My Special Girl Candy, Stephen, and Sophia…..There are no words to help ease the pain but know you are not alone in your heartache.You are loved by so many and we are all standing beside you. I hope as time goes by a smile will come to your face when you remember holding your sweet son rather than a tear……..Wish I could be there but please know Candy my arms are around you.

This is such a loss for the family. Pardon me, as I do not know you, but may you find comfort in each other’s hearts on this very sad loss. His little life was so short but so full of love.
I don’t know the family, but I do know the heartache you are feeling. I lost my son at 3 months….
