The picture – is the Aunt Monica I knew! Devilish smile. A barrel of fun! … Grace and Style. – I have fond memories of her coming up Wickham Street in her Volkswagen bug.
I couldn’t … just COULD NOT, visit her the last time I was home. I did not want to tarnish the Aunt Monica I knew. – It tore me apart not to visit her… I couldn’t. … Just couldn’t. … The Aunt Monica I knew is in the picture I just saw – and as I write these words I feel that she is here with me. .. What is she saying ??? .. Carp Diem! … yes she is here!… That’s my wonderful, wonderful Aunt Monica, whom, and I am sure she didn’t know it, (but knows it now; as a shed tears of sorrow – I feel her presence.)- I loved so very, very much.

To Ron and all the family. So sorry to hear of Monnie’s passing. We worked together at the TB Sanitirium in the 60s for many years. Minnie was an x-Ray technician who was loved by everyone who came in contact with her. Her laugh and smile would light up the whole department. Although we haven’t seen each other for many years I have often thought of her. RIP my friend. Heaven has gained another angel.

So sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace.
