Obituary

The family of Normand Cyrenne is deeply saddened to announce his passing, suddenly but peacefully, at his residence in St. John’s. Predeceased by his mother Blanche, of Drummondville Quebec, beloved daughter Linda, parents-in-law Garfield and Sarah Barnes of Fortune, sister-in-law Jean Stokes, brothers-in-law Nathan Stokes, Alvin Harris, Jordan Barnes, and Eric Barnes. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, wife Alvina, son Floyd Barnes (Geraldine), grandsons Bradley (Valerie), David (Tiffany), great-granddaughter Emily; sisters-in-law Sarah Harris (Lloyd), Emma Penney (Cecil), Ruth Martin, Helen Barnes and Geraldine Barnes; brother-in-law Philip Barnes (Rudy); special nieces Debbie Kelly and Beverly Bonnell and a large circle of extended family and friends. Norm was a gentle soul who treated everyone with kindness and asked for nothing in return. He will be fondly remembered, sadly missed, and never forgotten.
