Obituary
Passed away on June 21, 2018 in Paradise, Paul Lingard, age 52. Predeceased by his father Clarence Lingard. Leaving to mourn his wife Sandra; children Robyn, Rebecca and Riley; mother Bridget Lingard; sisters Michelle Tremblett and husband Brian, Kelly Lingard and husband Randy, and an extended circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 1045 Topsail Road, Mount Pearl on Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. Visitation will continue at Hoskin’s Funeral Home, Bishop’s Falls on Monday, June 25, 2018 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Parish on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 11:00 am. Cremation will follow. Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Our deepest condolences to the Lingard family. Paul was truly a genuine and kind hearted gentleman. He will surely be missed by everyone that got to know him.

My heart was broken today when I heard today of Paul’s passing. We started kindergarten in 1970 together and we remained great friends all throughout school. I have so many good memories of Paul. Sandra I can’t imagine the grief and pain you and your children are going through. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace Paul, you will be greatly missed.

I’m so saddened to hear of Paul’s passing. Not only was he a man who did what he could to boost morale and help the other members in Holyrood while I was there, over the years I knew him to be a great hockey player, both as an opponent and teammate……..and all of that pales in comparison when defining the man who spoke so fondly of his wife and children at every opportunity.
His loss is enormous to all who knew him but even more so for his beloved family.
My sincerest condolences to you all during this most difficult time and like you I can only seek comfort in knowing that he is at peace.

My sincere condolences to all of you during this very difficult time!! Very saddened by the news. I had the opportunity to be in Paul’s company a number of times through work and hockey. A real gentleman and a great hockey player. Your all in my thoughts and prayers.

I went through RCMP Depot with Paul, I liked him instantly, his gentle nature made going through training just that much more tolerable.
I have not seen or heard from Paul since those times in Regina, but even so, this news saddens me, I remember him in such a positive light.

Such a terrible loss and so, so young. I think my lasting memory of Paul will be playing hockey with him on the field between Wades and Morgans. Such a great guy, always fun to be in his company and likely the best hockey player in our circle of friends.
