Obituary
Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on July 1st, Pearl LeGrow, of Bauline, aged 90 years. She is predeceased by her parents Ralph and Beatrice King; sisters Dorothy Waldrop, Gwen Verge and Louise Picco and brother Ralph King. Leaving to mourn Harve, loving husband of 67 years; daughter Dianne (Geoff); sons Wade (Jackie), William, and Ralph (Denise); grandchildren Ashley (Kirk) Savory, Renell (Tim) Chalker, Colin (Kirby), Todd (Tracy Stapleton), Carly (Sidney) Leopold, Melissa and Nicholas; great grandchildren Geoffrey and Kip Chalker, Taylen Savory, Duggan and Hayden LeGrow, Oliver LeGrow and Everly Leopold; also, other nieces and nephews. Special thanks to St. Patrick’s Mercy Home Management and Staff, especially 2nd Floor South, for their loving care and compassion shown towards Mom. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, visitation and funeral service attendance have been limited. If you would like to attend, Please contact Ralph and Denise LeGrow for details. Visitation Saturday, July 4, 6 – 7 p.m., and 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. Funeral service will take place from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Sunday, July 5, at 2 p.m. Internment to follow at the Bauline Memorial United Cemetery, Pouch Cove Line. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Pearl’s memory may be made to Bauline United Church Cemetery/Building Fund.

Sorry never seems to be enough when a loved on passes away. When a vibrant mom, grandmother, and great grandmother leaves us.
I just wish she had been in my life a little bit longer. And I can’t even imagine your lives without her. When I entered her room in St. Pat’s, and she heard my voice, her first words were “Hello my Darlin'”
She talked about her life with Harve, and her children. Her stories were amazing. Her big smile I will never forget, because when I think of her, that will be my memory.

Thinking of you all as you celebrate the loving and kind family matriarch, Nanny Pearl. My memories include visiting her at home and always being offered food and drink. After politely declining from a long list of options she’d start in on a second string of incredible offerings until I finally chose something. She was so fiercely loyal to family and loved so deeply by so many in return.
