I am so sorry to hear of Peter’s passing. I quite fondly remember many games of golf that I had the opportunity to play both with my Dad and Peter at Bally Haly. Pete was a fixture at Bally Haly for many years and he was always the consummate gentleman. Hilda and Ruth and Family, God Bless.

I have fond memories of Peter as a classmate and am so sorry to hear of his passing. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Peter and his parents were life long frien.ds of my parents and our family.. Hazel was always part of all our family’s special occasions. I have known Peter since we were children. I have lost track of him since he stopped working. So sorry to hear of his passing. The picture here has captured the true Pete. He always had a big smile. My deepest sympathy to the family.

Was a Classmate of Peter through School ,later we would meet at social events at the Burnells with stories of schooldays, opinions and laughter.
Rest in peace.

Hilda,
Please accept our deepest condolences for
your loss.

My parents Marion & herb Wyatt were life long friends of Hal & Hazel, I “baby sat” Peter when they lived on LeMarchant Road.. The Pollard family were part of my life. Life takes us all on different paths, so I lost touch with Peter after his Mother died.. Sincere sympathy to the family.

As a young student at Memorial, I worked for a couple of summers at the Provincial Archives. I have very fond memories of Peter. He was an inexhaustible source of historical knowledge who always remembered what significant or interesting events occurred on any given day. This was before you could look this up on the internet. I will always remember Peter’s hearty laugh and his patience with a fresh university kid. Rest in peace, Peter.

To Hilda, Peggy, Jean (Robin)
We’ve lost a great individual today. I remember the wonderful conversations Peter and I would have back in the 50’s/60’s when we would go for our nightly walks of 5 or 6 miles along Topsail Road. He was never at a loss for thoughts, words and opinions. He had an exceptional knowledge of the history of Western Europe. His uninhibited laughter will always be remembered. Sincere condolences. Alf Pike, Q.C.

Fond memories of Peter from Bally Haly and the St. John’s Curling Club. Condolences to family and friends.

Sorry for your loss.
