It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Rae was born in Ardrossan, Scotland on March 11, 1943 and passed peacefully away on Friday, June 15, 2018, at Pleasantview Towers in St. John’s. She is predeceased by her parents, Wilson and Annie Pardy and brother in law Gordon Parsons. Rae was a graduate from the Salvation Army Grace General Hospital School of Nursing (Class of 1964) and loved being a nurse. We would like to extend our love and gratitude to the staff and former co-workers at Hoyles/Escasoni and Pleasantview Towers for their care of Rachel over these past years. Cremation has already taken place. To see her is to love her, and love but her forever;

For Nature made her what she is, and never made another.
