To the Simpson Family,
I was saddened to see the announcement of Ruth’s homegoing this morning. As a child at Camp Emmanuel and later as an attendee at Elim, I remember Ruth as a kind and lovely lady. Her physical beauty was magnified by her grace. Her faithfulness to her church and family was an inspiration. May God comfort you all through our blessed hope.

Dot, David and family, so sorry to hear of Ruth’s passing. The memories I have of 42 Cashin Ave feel like they happened yesterday; I even remember Pilot’s Hill. Thinking of the family at this time.
The words of that old hymn come to mind, “What a Day That Will Be . . .”

The Simpson family

I first met Ruth back in 1961 at my late sister’s wedding in Badger. She was so beautiful and I discovered she was as beautiful inside as she was outside. What a wonderful person she was, with that warm smile.

I am so sorry to hear of her passing, but we know that she is absent from the body and present with the Lord.. While you hearts are in pain and you will miss her greatly, you also know that there is a heavenly Comforter and the assurance of the Blessed Hope that is ours forever.

We are thinking of you today as you celebrate her life with wonderful memories.

Blessings!

The Simpson Family,
Sorry to hear of Ruth’s passing. She was a beautiful and faithful lady who loved her Lord, family and church. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. In the midst of your sorrow, we are praying that our Heavenly Father will hold you close and comfort you not only today but in the coming days.

Wayne and I are so very, very sad to know that Ruth has passed. Wayne always loved to get his hug from Ruth on our visits home. Her passing has made us reminisce about all the wonderful days as young people at Elim. Our deepest sympathy to the family who we hold dear in our thoughts and prayers.

Ron, Dorothy, Walter and the Simpson Family.
We were sorry and saddened to hear of Ruth’s sudden passing. Little did I think when I gave her a hug in December that it would be the last time. A pleasure to know for many years, always cheerful and faithful to her family and her church. She will be missed.

I have the fondest memories as a young girl, standing next to Ruth in the choir and singing alongside her for the Old, Old Story broadcast!! She was always laughing and carrying on!! I haven’t seen much of her in recent years, but when I did see her, she had THE biggest smile for me. A great lady for sure!!

Very saddened by this news today… it’s heartbreaking but she Is dancing in the streets of gold tonight! Ruth’s (and Dot’s) dedication and love for the CMC Supper Bowl ministry was something that shone from her every time she was there… she always gave me a hug and told me she was praying for me… She always had nothing but the kindest words for everyone! She will be greatly missed! My prayers are with the family at this difficult time!

Linda and I were shocked and saddened to hear of Rith’s passing. Memories go back to Elimi especially for Linda as she worked with Ruth in th Sunday school office, sang in the choir as well as involvement in CA’s. Ruth was also a part of our wedding party 48 years ago. We often met Ruth as well as Dot and Dolly out shopping and always stopped to chat and catch up on family news. Although it is a sad time, Ruth has gone to her hevenly reward,. Blessings and prayers to the entire Simpson and extended families.

Our deepest sympathies to the Simpson family. Ruth was a joy to know. Such a beautiful woman both inside and out. She will be greatly missed.

I am shocked as well to learn of Ruth’s passing, she and I worked together at Newfoundland Power. She and I always had a chat at our NP Ladies Get Together Dinners. I will miss seeing her.

What a shock to learn of Ruth’s passing yesterday evening. She was a faithful secretary of our Sunday school fior many years before I took the position, a faithful member of Elim’c choir and The Old Old Syiry broadcast choir for many years. I always wanted to sit next to her, if possible, to help me with the alto notes. Well done, good and faithful servant. You will be missed. Hugs to all.
