Jolyn, Jody, Cavell,

Roz was a wonderful person who opened her home and heart to this stranger from away. She personified what being a Newfoundlander is all about and I will always feel privileged to say that I knew her and shared a small part of her light. I will miss her greatly and remember her with fondness always. She will always be my Udder Mudder.

Dallas and Roz’s family,
Sorry for your loss. I remember lots of Sunday visits to Kelligrews when we were children. We were always made so welcome. We also enjoyed Roz and Belle’s visits to New Cove Rd. Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Barbara (Connolly) Butt

Jolyn & Jody, I was saddened to hear of the sudden passing of you mom.A wonderful woman filled with kindness, love and pride for her children .She will be sadly missed.I will continue to remember all of you in my prayers. May her gentle soul rest in peace !1

To Daphne and Dallas. So sorry to hear about Ros. We had many hours of fun and laughter through the years of our childhood. We picked blueberries together as kids, went to girl guide camp and went into nurses training together as teenagers. She taught me how to laugh at myself. She even taught me how to “jive”. I missed her when she decide not to continue with nursing after her Mom`s death. She will always be apart of my fondest memories, as I know she will for both of you.
My sincerest sympathy,
Barbara

Jody, Jolyn, and Cavell,
Please accept my deepest condolences. Ros was a very wise lady, with a witty sense of humor. Any conversation with her would leave you chuckling. Rest assured that she was welcomed into heaven with open arms by the many friends and family from the North Side of Avondale who have gone before her. The loving memories you hold in your hearts will keep your mom near you always. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Jolyn, Jody and Family
Please except my deepest condolences. Your mother was a very kind, considerate and special woman. We worked together years ago and and had a good laugh. She will be truly missed. Cherish all your memories of such a wonderful woman and mother. May she rest in peace.

Roz was a cousin I never got to meet. She was so respected by so many people in Newfoundland. I have benefited from her loving work on saving the family histories. My Mom was a Tilley, (Hilda Connolly’s sister) and it was wonderful to find out family connections from Roz’s research..Roz made a difference in many lives….someone to be proud of
Sorry for your loss..

Jody, Jolyn and families, Please accept my heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your beloved mom.
I worked with Roz at The Bank of Montreal in the mid-seventies and eighties, although I have not seen her for some time, I can tell by the many condolence comments that she never changed her style. Roz was kind, funny and smart, she never tired or got frustrated on any level while training me or in the years we worked together, she was a complete joy to be around. May you be comforted by the outpouring of love surrounding you.

Jody and Jolyn, we are so sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom. Roz was a wonderful and facinating person with a kind heart. We had many interesting conversations over the years on the phone and I was so glad to have a chance to chat with her on Christmas Day. I will miss Roz’s christmas cards that she always signed off with her own sense of humour….”hoping you have a cool yule”. We are keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers.
