Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father, Samuel Joseph Churchill. Dad is pre-deceased by his mother, Rita and his father, William. Leaving to mourn are his five children, Terry (Marie), Kerry, Danielle (Rick), Dennis (Paula) and Philip. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren, Kendra, Kyle, Rachel, Myla, Olivia, Dennis, Jessica, and Felix. His three wonderful sisters, Loretta, Sharon, and Corina. Also, three brothers, Lionel, Lorne, and Barry. Special thanks to the staff of Linda’s Personal Care Home in the Goulds. They cared for him like he was family and were always loving and kind.
Cremation has taken place. A private committal date and time will be announced shortly.
Gone but never forgotten.
Safe in the arms of Jesus.

My condolences to you all on the loss of your brother, father, grandfather. I think i can speak for the fennelly family in saying that sam was almost like family,he was comming to our home since we moved into portugal cove in 1962. GOD BLESS
I had the privilege of being one of sams caretakers at Linda’s PCH for the last year or so. He was always so grateful when I would bring his evening medication down to his room or let him have an extra bear paw cookie at snack time. He was very sweet and will definitely be missed. My condolences to you all on the loss of your father, grandfather. I lived next door to Sam when I moved out with my boyfriend in 1999. That Christmas I had nothing. Sam cutdown a real tree for me and gave us decorations and lights for our tree. I will forever be thankful for his help in making my first Christmas on my own a rememberable one. Fly high Sam.
