Sharon, I was so sorry to hear of the sudden passing of your mom.
There are no words to explain the sadness I feel for you and your family. It is never easy to say goodbye to those we love, or to explain the extreme void that is left with us.
While saying goodbye, acknowledge and celebrate the role she played in your lives, in your families and in your home.. Think of the wonderful days you shared together, for she will have a lasting impact on your life. Remember and cherish those memories with a smile.
Although I never met your mom, I can certainly see your beautiful smile in her face.
Always remember……”Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near, so loved, so missed, so very dear.”
She will always be with you Sharon. Loving memories last forever.
I extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family and send you hugs, support and prayers to strengthen you in the days ahead.
God Bless
Love Mary Snelgrove, Goose Bay

Sharon and Halley,

So sorry to hear of the passing of your mother (grandmother). May those warm, funny, and wild moments of times together provide some solace.

Sharon,Bruce, Keith and families, I was so saddened to hear of your mom’s passing.. I spent most of grade nine living at your house and I remember your mom as one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met. She was so full of love for her family and the kindest gentlest most genuine person ever. She also had such a great sense of humour that I enjoyed so much. She was always the same way and always had that most beautiful smille on her face. May you all treasure your precious memories and know she will always be with you.
Hugs…….RIP Aunt Shirley

Sharon, Bruce and Keith

We are saddened to hear of your mother’s sudden passing. We became friends at Wabush in 1965 and had many nice times together. When we moved back to the island in 1970, we lived at Whitbourne for awhile and still remained good friends. Things changed over the years and we, kind of, grew apart but I thought of her often. The last time we chatted was at Walmart where she recognized my voice from the next aisle and quickly came over to me. What a lovely surprise!
May your precious memories help get you through this most difficult time.

Growing up, we made the long trek across Canada a few times from Fort McMurray to Whitbourne, not easy let me tell ya! But no matter the days in the car and on the boat and in the car again, there was always a warm, loving, welcome at Aunt Shirl’s place. Fresh berries in cream, picked right out of the yard, that dog Bert, that hated us all but loved Aunt Shirley something fierce, hugs, and kisses, and unconditional love poured from her. When we moved there briefly when I was about 11 or 12, it was like I was one of hers, and one of Aunt Gails and Uncle Ed’s too, and one of Nan and Paps of course, because in this family, you always are as loved as the rest, no matter the distance. No matter what may be happening for her, she always had love to give to me whenever I saw her, or spoke with her, always. I wish I could have seen her more, spoke with her more, I’ll miss her so very much. Aunt Shirley, please give Dad a big hug and kiss from his kid, He will be so happy to have you there with him.
Love you all forever and always. Xoxo

Shirley, may you rest in pease forevermore.
What a Loving Mother and Grandmother you were, you were even a pretty good mother in law, kind and generous.

Sharon, Bruce and Keith,

I am deeply saddened and very sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom. I have many fond memories of your Mom, many laughs were had and I was always so excited to see her. She was full of so much love and she made me feel special. When I was a child she would come to our house to visit and I loved telling her the lastest news and getting a cup of tea and little snack ready for her. She let me have a treat when Mom said no, Lol!! Going to visit Shirley meant I would have the pleasure of a fresh peice of homemade bread…yummy!! Your Mom is love and her heart was pure gold and even tho we won’t be able to physically see her, spiritually she’ll never disappear. You are all in my thoughts and prayers as you find your peace and new life path!!
