Obituary

Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital after a lengthy illness, Shirley (Shirl) Hynes, aged 69 years.

Predeceased by parents Walter and Evelyn Reid, father and mother-in-law Gordon and Veronica Hynes, brother-in-law Gary Oliver, nephew Gary Jr., sister-in-law Lillian Butler. Leaving to mourn her loving husband of 52 years, Terry; brothers: Ron Reid (Brenda), Billy Reid, and Bob Reid (Marion); sisters: Darlene Oliver, Jackie McGrath (Jim), and Jeanette Strickland (Freddie); also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special niece Lois Osmond. Special thank you to the staff of 6 Floor East and 7 Floor East at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital for their care and support.

Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel with interment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery,

In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the S.P.C.A
