Obituary
Passed peacefully away surrounded by her family at the Dr. Walter Templeman Health Centre after a lengthy battle with MS.
Predeceased by her husband Jim Quilty of 40 years, parents Anne and Edward Nolan, siblings Dan and Larry Nolan as well as sister Kay Batterton and her mother-in-law Mildred Quilty.
Leaving to mourn her children: Tammy, Connie and Jamie Quilty (Sheri), her special grandchildren Spencer and Hunter Quilty, siblings Mary Adams (Bill deceased), Laura Bennett (Walter deceased), Johnny Nolan (Sharon), Harold Nolan, Shirley Linehan (Nicky), and Mercedes Szmek (Led), the Quilty family and friends. She will also be missed by her Bingo partner of many years and special friend Maureen Lawlor.
Many thanks to the staff for their exceptional care while mom was on Bell Island, it will never be forgotten. Also, a special thanks to Gerry and Shirley Skanes for going above and beyond.
Flowers accepted or donations can be made to the MS Society.
Visitations will take place at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 1045 Topsail Road, from 2-9 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15, 2020, & 2-9 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2020. Funeral Service will be held at a later date to be announced.

Though we can’t be there in person, please know that you are in our thoughts and hearts through this difficult time. While it’s true that we only had a small acquaintance with Theresa, we know that she was a kind and loving person with a generous spirit and she will be missed by all who knew her.
